It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Much as we love the Holidays there’s a special kind of magic and joy at harvest and winemaking time. And work! With thrills, chills and spills – not a tragic amount of the latter but enough to make us a sticky mess – we do all we can to prep and then we go, go, go picking and crushing (grapes) and pitching (yeast + nutrients) and punching (down fermentation caps) and measuring (sugar and acid) and pressing and racking and settling and barreling and – time for a martini. I mean, a glass of fabulous wine, of course! And it all starts with a dawn that looks like the one above. All peaceful and pretty, full of promise and adventure. And that’s just the small batches – Grenache Blanc, Cabernet Rose and Syrah – all currently in one stage or another of magically transforming into wine that we’ll be sending you one day. Up next – 3 tons of Cabernet Sauvignon!
